On this beautiful evening as the Sun was setting in the hills of Govardhana Giri area in Kukatpally, God happily and vibrantly appeared in the hearts of hundreds of devotees as they were relishing the 143rd recitation of Bhagavatha Sapthaham by Gundi Seetharam Sastri ji. He is a great orator, hails from Narasimha Swami aalayam in Dharmapuri, Karimnagar. He is a ‘Suvarna Kankana’ awardee. He was extremely elated when Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami presided on the 6th day of the Sapthaham (a 7 day recitation event). Swamiji arrived as he was narrating the nature of the results that one can experience when one participates in the Bhagavatham Recitation. The temple was beautifully renovated and holds the divine abode of Rukmini, Satyabhama Sametha Sri Venugopala Swami.
Sri Ahobila Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji and Sri Krishnamacharyulu – an erudite Vedic scholar and a very pure and soft spoken devotee also graced the occasion.
Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji explained the power of Bhagavatham proving and quoting the extensive knowledge that is embedded into the scripture. He very clearly mentioned the chapter names that have extra-ordinary details on embryo and recommended that doctors should go through it. Swamiji also mentioned that there is abundant knowledge for scientists and historians in Bhagavatham. It is basically a huge treasure house of all knowledge on several key aspects.
Swamiji offered his best wishes and blessings to all the interested devotees who were all ears during the recitation and discourse. May the place bring real glory, health and wealth to all near and far!
