The white feather like clouds appear like steps to reach the lush green tall trees. The tender green leaves shine with glistening dew drops when the sun rays kiss them. The low lying feather lite white clouds form the marble steps around the high green trees reaching the heavens as if inviting us to climb them to reach the Lord and offer our services to Him.The bewitching beauty of Nature captivates our heart and mind. Hence, our rushis named this place Hrushikesh.

 Vaikuntta Ramalayam Temple 

597967_orig Vaikuntta Ramalayam Temple where Hanuman carries Lord Rama, Sitha and Lakshmana on his shoulders is located in the asram. The uniqueness of the temple is Lord Rama and His parivaram is very similar to Lord in Bhadracahalam.  Daily worship, thirunakshathram celebrations, annual bramhotsavams are conducted regularly.

There is a flight from Delhi to Dehradun. Come to Dehradun Airport. Jeeyar Ashram is 24 kms from Dehradun. Pick a taxi to reach Jeeyar Mutt which is 35 minutes away.

Haridwar is about 25 kms away from Rushikesh. Haridwar means the door way to reach Hari. This door way is a pathway created by nature itself in between the two mountains to reach Hrushikesh. Lakshman Jhulais an iron suspension bridge situated in Rishikesh in Indian state of Uttarakhand . It is made over river Ganges to cross the river and is a landmark of Rishikesh.
It is said that Lakshmana crossed Ganges on jute ropes between the place where this bridge is built. Lakshman Jhula was completed in 1929.There are spectacular views from the bridge.

Ram Jhula is an iron suspension bridge situated at Muni Ki Reti in Rishikesh in Indian state of Uttarakhand. Built in the 1986, over river Ganges to cross the river and is a landmark of Rishikesh.

Ram jhula is located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) north of Rishikesh at Muni Ki Reti. There are some of the Hindu ashrams and religious centers like “Gita Bhawan”, and “Swargashram” located here. It is also a connecting bridge between Swargashram, Gita Bhawan and other temples with Sivananda Ashram. Though similar in design, this bridge is bigger than Lakshman Jhula.This bridge constructed with the span of 450 feet (140 m) and above 59 feet (18 m) from summer water level.

Triveni Ghat is a ghat situated in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. It is the biggest and most famous ghat in Rishikesh at the banks of Ganges.
