JIVA, or Jeeyar Integrated Vedic Academy, was established in 2008 to protect and promote Vedic literature and values. JIVA was established to commemorate HH Srimannarayana Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji’s centennial celebrations. Covering an area of 53 acres, JIVA contains not only a Ve:dic Gurukulam, but also computer labs, JIMS hospitals, a go:sa:la, Ne:thra Vidya:laya (school for visually challenged), and even we have a Homeopathic Degree College now.

In 1984, HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji established JEEYAR EDUCATIONAL TRUST VEDIC UNIVERSITY in a serene environment on the Southern banks of sacred river Krishna in Sitanagaram, Guntur district. HH Sri Swamiji established this institution to educate the world about the greatness of Vedas and Agamas. These scriptures reveal the secrets of the universe and elaborate the procedures of yajnas, homas and temple rituals. A Vedic school was started and 70 students were recruited as part of an initial effort.

Nadigaddapalem Asram also called Vasudasa Asram is a great spiritual center. Initially, this place was a lemon orchard owned by Sriman Venkatappaya. He donated it to Sri Vasudasa Swamy, a great devotee of Lord Rama, author of Ramayana Makarandam in Telugu widely known as Telugu Valmiki.

In 1954, Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji took renunciation and Sriman Venkatappayya garu donated the Vasudasa Asram to Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji in 1956. Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji developed the Asram making it His main centre of activities.

Veda Adhyayana Research Institute of Jeeyar Academy, known as Varija Asramam, was established by HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji in 2003. It stands on a cliff overlooking the Bay of Bengal at a distance of about 75 meters from the seashore. The picturesque view of the long beach, the glistening sand, gently waving palm trees, the sounds of waves crashing on the shore and the breathtaking sunsets provide a calm, relaxing atmosphere to the residents and visitors of this asramam.

Bhadrachalam temple was constructed in 17th century by a great devotee of Lord Rama named Bhaktha Ramadas. In this temple, Lord Sri Rama has appeared as a self manifested deity (swayambhu). His divine form appears with sankham, chakram, a bow and arrow in his four hands along with Mother Sitha and Lakshmana. The holy river Godavari flows around this pilgrimage. According to Bramha Purana, a devotee taking darsan of Lord Sri Rama, bathing in Godavari, performing charity, meditation, yajnas and thadiyaradhana (annadanam) will be 10 million times more fruitful in Bhadrachalam than in any other holy place. Millions of devotees attend the Sri Sitha Rama Kalyanam which is celebrated grandly with pomp and splendor annually on Sri Rama Navami day.

Badari, a holy place on the Earth, floating spiritual vibrations down to the Earth from a height of 10,250 feet in Himalayas. The Great Narayana Manthra was revealed to this world from here only.

Our Ashtakshari Kshethram situated on Nara mountain,welcomes all the pilgrims with good shelter and free food (Prasadam). Badari Nath has a beautiful Temple of Lord Narayana, opened only for summer 6 months and remains closed during winter. Badarinath as said in our Puranas, is a place where Lord Narayana is in the form of Mountains doing penance for the peaceful world.

Hrushikesh is surrounded by beautiful mountains, sparkling waters in rivulets, flying clouds across the skies. This place captivates our senses. The beauty of this place reaches its peak when rainy season is about to end.
The white feather like clouds appear like steps to reach the lush green tall trees. The tender green leaves shine with glistening dew drops when the sun rays kiss them. The low lying feather lite white clouds form the marble steps around the high green trees reaching the heavens as if inviting us to climb them to reach the Lord and offer our services to Him.The bewitching beauty of Nature captivates our heart and mind. Hence, our rushis named this place Hrushikesh.

Srimadubhaya Vedanthacharya Peetam was established by Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji in 1970 at Srirangam  to propogate Vedic  philosophy and to serve the pilgrims visiting Srirangam. In 2007, the asram was renovated with modern facilities for the benefit of pilgrims by HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. Nithya Annadanam (Free Food Distribution) is conducted every day. This service began in 1970 by HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji  and this service is going on for 44  years without any break.

Lord Thirunarayana dwells in Melkote, Karnataka State. Acharya Ramanuja of 1017 AD allowed down trodden people into the temple here only, to prove that all are equal before God. As he brought out the right essence of Vedic knowledge by his invaluable commentaries, this place is worshipped as ‘JNA:NA MANDAPA’ by the elite.

Every year during Phalguna month a special event called ‘Vairamudi Seva’ is conducted during which a dazzling diamonds-studded crown is adorned to Lord. Lakhs of people participate in this world famous event though it is a remote place.

U.Ve. Sriman Venkata Narasimha charyulu also called Kundalam Swamy, a great scholar  hailed from Koratla Nizamabad stayed in Sri Perumbudur, the birth place of Bhagawad Ramanuja where Telugu was the official language. Upto 1956, Sri Perumbudur  was a Telugu speaking district. To learn Tamil, people had to go to Kanchipuram. Later after the partition, Telugu was forgotten and Sriperumbudur became a Tamil speaking area. But the veterans can speak Telugu even today. Mandasa Ramanuja Swamivaru, the guru of Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji was the disciple of Kundalam Swamy.

Veda Bhavan started in 2003 in Karimnagar. One batch of students completed Krushna Yajur Veda. Currently Maithrayini Veda  – a very rare Vedam which is known to not more than 25 pundits across the world is taught to a new batch here. The asramam provides free food, clothing and education to the students.  The students are taken on excursions and other academic trips to improve their all-round  personality.

Jeeyar Ashramam is located at 222 Dey Road, Cranberry, New Jersey, 08512. It was opened to everyone by His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Thridandi Srimannarayana Chinna Jeeyar Swamy on August 21, 2008. This is the first JET asramam of its kind in United States. It acts as the head quarters for JET USA and JET New Jersey .

The Asramam houses our resident priests. It is one of the centers where Prajna classes are held. Daily Aradhana is done at 8:00 AM and Vishnusahasranama Parayanam is done at 7:00 PM. Interested devotees are welcome to attend both of these events. The timing may change during special events.
