Karthika Masam, the month of spiritual vibes comes with a number of activities for a battered soul lost in samsara. Samudra snanam, Vanabhjonam are the two important activities among many other activities performed during this month. Speaking of Vanabhojanam, it is said that when you eat under the shade of trees in a Vanam, you are taking the prasadam of the Vanaswaroopa Swami.

Karthika Masam, The Agni swaroopa masam:

Karthika Masa, is the month of Agni Swaroopa, the Fire which is the foremost element of the earth. Agni also rules the star of the Kruthika Nakshatram. People bow down to the Agni, by lighting their lives and homes with Deepam. It is said that Agni also resides in the Trees. So in another form of worship, people come together and savour the delicacies made, under the shade of trees, as a way of worshipping to Narayana.

On this occasion, on Nov 4, at JIVA, Karthika Vana samaradhana was held where a number of devotees took part and came together to worship the Vanaswaroopa Agni.
