  • Nithya annadanam is conducted every day to at least 300 people.
  • On auspicious days, special events, thadiyaradha is offered to not less than 1500 people.

  • Degree and Junior College for blind are located in the premises providing free lodging, boarding and education.
  • It is unique in that students are trained to write their intermediate board and degree exams on laptops without the help of scribes (helpers)
  • This is first in India where State government recognized and permitted the students to write on laptops
  • Nethra Vidyalaya provides education with all facilities for free, to the blind students of all communities irrespective of religion, caste, color and gender
