The evening program started with the chanting of Sri Vishnu Sahasranama. Jaladhivasam was performed where the idols were submerged in water. Later milk and honey was also poured. Devotees also took part in this opportunity and put milk and honey they brought from home on the deities.
Later explaining the significance of these activities, HH said that these procedures were prescribed by the agamas to ensure that the idol has no blemishes.
Later Sriman Apparaoji, Sriman Gangadhar Rao ji and Sriman Kranti Subbarao ji also spoke about the significance of this program and HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji’s sathya sankalpam.
Today Ahobila Jeeyar Swamiji completed 12 years of taking sanyasam. HH Swamiji extended mangalasasams to Ahobila Jeeyar Swamiji to continue doing more and more services.Ahobila Jeeyar Swamiji also spoke on this occasion and prayed HH to give more energy and strength to do more services to Acharya.
After evening purnahuthi, the program concluded with thirttha and prasada goshti.
